I knew sometime someone would make a thread about this subject, so I decided to be the one. Vote for your overall favorite NES!!!

Edit: I voted for Uknes; it is the most popular, and very civilized and fun.

I voted for ARTNES; it has proper rules and isnt way too complex.

I voted for Uknes, simply because it's huge and allows for loads of diplomatic skullduggery.
Artnes is brilliant too, but things happen faster in the uknes...
Besides, even though artnes is simpler, the uknes opens for greater variety, and is slightly more realistic in its comprehensiveness...

I have noticed that das's Nes III was started way after my 1st NES, but it already has seven(!!) pages while mine has three. Please tell me, am I doing something wrong when I make NES's? If so, how can I improve them? Or am I too new for anyone to trust me as a good MOD? Please tell me the truth, for I really love NES's.

I voted for NES III because the game play is great, and the people who are playing it are very realistic and fun to play with

I haven't joíned WarlordMatt's 1st NES,NES.Nazi Empire and A.R.T.-N.E.S.,so I can't judge.
I joined I konw,I know, another NES,but very lately,so I didn`t understand most of the events;it's also not so realistic as the other ones.
I like Future NES,but its in competition with SNES in the same timeframe, probably both should merge (why isn't SNES in poll,it already has more than Future NES?)
NES III is very good,we'll see what happens.
But my absolute favourite is UKNES.uknemesis is doing a great job, diplomacy is very important and you really have to think for what you sped your limited gold.
BTW,couldn' one of the MODs close down obviously dead NES like NESII or the other ones by uk,so newbies aren't irritated?

I'm obviously not doing such a great job at handling UKNES, I created a monster so huge I don't want to handle it anymore! :p

Anyway, I will continue to make sure that the new mods keep the game fair, and who knows, perhaps I will start working on a new NES, but one which is easier for me to keep track of, or make sure that the work can easily be split.

I'm not sure whether to go for some kind of überNes, one where there will be trading, provinces, a tech tree, and a load of units for each age(imagine half of the UKNES's units, then have that amount for five to seven ages!). But I think that may be a bit too complicated to run.

I love the ARTNES, but it is currently plagued by the same problem my NES and every other is; everyone wants to win, and the more powerful your nation, the easier it is to invade smaller nations, and so you get more powerful and it is easier to take out enemies.

I am also considering for my next NES should I make it simple, where there possibly will be trading(some provinces having resources in them), only a few units, maybe leaders, and no tech tree.

Hmm, I'm not sure what I will do, whether I will retire from NES moderation for good other than keeping UKNES fair, or whether I will come back with another NES, in which I split it up enough that others can help me mod.

Anyway, WarlordMatt, what you need is something to make your NES original. Either a new combat system or buying method(like UKNES), a new NES system completely(like the great ARTNES), or something else that makes it different. NESIII is doing well because Das is known as a good mod.

Good luck.

And thanks to all those who've helped make UKNES great.

Hey, Skilly, SNES Ad Infitium II was not being played when I made this thread, so I didn't put it there. But you can vote for it in "Other."
