For some reason, whenever I put some mercenary units up for sale, they start disappearing. I mean, sure, at first I thought: OK, they were bought and then killed in the same turn...but I'm not even getting the up-front payment for the mercenary!! What's going on?

No, I never get paid for them. They really do dissappear, like an alien abducted them.

And this happens to almost half of the mercenaries I put up for sale!

can't you call them back? You should from somewhere in the mercenary panel

Yes, I can call about half of the mercenaries back that I post "up for sale." But, as I said, about half of them dissappear without a trace. Should I post this in a bug thread?
