i love to play "earth" maps
but ( correct me if im wrong ) i can only find a way to play the earth map in the custom scenario ( wich cancel's alot of the civ's ).
is there a way to get around this?
or maybe someone could tell me if i can download an earth map somewhere ( ive seen a few around the forums but i dont really know wich one to use )

I like to play on a good earth map too, but it's too big for me :p
You could try to ask on the "mods and scenarios" forum.
OR try Rhye's and Fall of Civilization which is an original mod in BtS (a more realistic earth map)

try Rhyes&Fall, or scenario earth_18civs

the map in my sig lets you play all 34 civs (currently beta) on a skewed/squeezed map of earth...

you will need a mod similar to ltbob's (link in thread). I will be adding a non-modded version of this map later on.

No. There are some mods in the BtS pack.
This is how you play it:
1 - click "advanced" on the top menu
2 - click "load a mod"
3 - choose the mod you want to play (Rhye's and Fall of Civilization)
4 - after the loading, click "play now!"
5 - play it :)
