I haven't been too active lately, but I hope some long weekends to change that!

My question above is specifically about adding citizen entries to the civilopedia, but could be generalized to anything I suppose. Could someone either point me towards some tutorial or application regarding this or if they have any experience in doing this, please share it with others here?

This is what I added to the Civilopedia, but I don't see any pages show up. I only did this to get pages. Before I spent time adding other info, I wanted the pages to show up.

Any other ideas?

I'd have had this in the main C&C forum :)

Oops, yeah, I meant to do that. Could a moderator move it pretty please?

Yeah, so...any ideas, or would one be better off following the techniques on Civinator's tutorial on Enhanced Tech Trees?

I believe there is a tutorial on adding citizen types in which a "philosopher" is added to the list of citizens. I'll find it for you.

But the answer is yes you can add citizens, however, it must be done properly in order to show up in the game.

EDIT: found the link - http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=50341

Hope this helps. :)

Thanks. I have already added the citizens actually. I am quite proud and looking to show them off in my mod. What I was wondering is, can I add a category in the Civilopedia in which I could do a write up about each citizen?

Has someone added Citizen as an entry in the pedia? Sounds like the enhanced tech trees is the only way, but there must be another way.

I think citizens is under GCON_Specialists in the civlopedia. And I think you can add entries to game concepts if you want to. In other words I think you can add a description separately of each citizen if you want. I'm trying to add some stuff to game concepts with the mod I'm working on, adding some things to game concepts which I can't really put elsewhere. I haven't tested it yet but if someone already knows the answer please let me know. :)

Yeah, I have been adding stuff to GCON, with no props...quite fun!

But if you take a look in the editor, you see the pre-set specialists have the pedia entry as, CTZN_Police or CTZN_Laborer. I just assumed they were in the pedia, but you never come across that, so I was wondering if there was a way to add it. I would like to add them to the pedia, but don't know if I will be over the limit of 256 buildings if I use Civinator's Enhanced Tech Trees.

Could the Mod please move this, so maybe it will get more attention? Thanks!

I think the CTZN_ entry was eventually scrapped- I haven't seen any references to it in any of the .txt files...
