Having xml problems with beyond the sword, but that's another topic.

I was told by tech support to uninstall and reinstall CivIV. After uninstalling, the the re-installition seems to go fine until the end. The shortcut to play it doesn't work, and when I put disc 1 into the drive I don't get the 'play' option, instead I get 'install'. When I click on that, It asks if I want to uninstall the game.


Trying to bypass this, when I try install BtS, the computer says CivIV isn't installed properly.
