okay...first of all...i'm sorry if this question had been asked a million times...

i have the compaq presario v3000
Vista home basic
its specs are more than enough for the game.
i bought the 2 cd version
i carefully followed the read me text
i had no problems extracting part1, then it asked me for disc 2. so i popped it in...then after some time...windows had a dialogue box that said something about the program may have not installed properly, then i'm given 2 options to whether install it using recommended settings or the option "it is installed correctly" or something. so i click the 2nd option. i followed the part where i get to install daemon, i opened it...got as far as the agreement...then i pressed install...it says "failure to extract installer"

PLEASE HELP ME!!! been trying to install the game for 4 hours...

PS: i copied the 2 extract files into my HD before i extracted it

i also tried installing from the cd...but same results. now i can't even choose the "install with recommended settings" option since i chose the other one...i always end up with civilization 4 mds and the other one. (both came from part 1)

errr....i fixed it...i found out that daemon347 is not compatible with vista. i had to download the newest ver. can a mod delete my thread? thx. and sorry if i bothered.
