Ok, so in my current Vanilla Civ game on Warlord, I was a moron and while setting up my game I made the map a duel with 4 civs..So I made it a priority to outexpand Napoleon, HC, and Frederick. Not there's nowhere left to expand, so I'm considering war with my closest neighbor, Nap. Being the noob that I am, I didn't get intelligence on his city (yes he has 1 city). It turns out he has 5 archers, all with City Garr I, a spearman, and 3 Axes, all with Combat I. His total defenses give his archers a whopping 160% defense :eek: So my question is..Should I Abandon the Campaign, even though I have 8 Praetorians, 4 with City Raider I? Or is this actually feasable for me to win?:confused:

I would have abandonned here, until you said you have pretorians :D. I must say it's a tough one here and I would gladly have 2 or 3 more, but with a little luck it's doable

You could try spacing your praets around his city on top of the best tiles so he has a hard time growing or anything new, and then researching+building yourself a catapault :king:

This was my thought actually, make a beeline for cats, thats I think 22 turns away though. I have two cities on his borders that are pumping out Praetorians for now,
so maybe I'll keep hitting his city with Praetorians, before he gets something more advanced?
I was able to expand my cities culture and steal Horses from him :D, and I have (as far as I know) all the Iron on the map.

Well as it turns out I won the war..and shortly after attacked and annihalated HC and won the game with a domination victory worth 35k points =D Finding Nap's only source of copper was HUGE =P
