Recently I found immortal game more interesting with these conditions:
- no industrious trait&no stone&marble nearby
- weak traits (imperialistic, protective) or hopeless (expansive)
The game became more interesting after those settings. I played once with my version of expansive (1 hammer from water tiles). And I was blocked by Brennus, who had more than 10 cities. I had 5 and thankfully founded 6th far from the capital. This was peaceful game, but the best game ever. Brennus was vassalizing everyone and he was close to domination. Conquest rather not, because that meant who should have vassalized me ;).
But then switched to deity, never had patience to finish those games. It was rather recon, than regular game. Once I was smashed by Hammurabi. And I observed that there are some problems in founding 6 cities (this number opens Oxford University, 2 cathedrals, Globe etc.). Here is some game I've just started. What would be your advice? Is it possible to win deity with 4-5 cities?
