I used to play RFC heavily, then uni got in the way, now i'm back with my laptop and i'm ready to go...or so i thought..

anyway, to make a long story short, Vista and Civ4 don't work.....

Problem- I have Civ4 (with much work) updated and patched to 1.74, Not BTS yet (despite having the CD's...stupid vista), anyway, RFC isn't working, i'm getting the old, download the mod, load the mod, then can't get to the game itself. Civ loads the mod, then i can't play it as a senairo, i had the same problem long ago with a different comp....how do you fix it? Do i have to extract it someplace other then Civ4 mods?

i've read that it behaves just like mac - no mods that use DLLs work on it.
But I might be wrong

say it ain't so!! without RFc civ is just a....a....husk of a game!
