Just a question:

Do you need to have all 3 CDs ( regular, warlords, bts ) to be able to play each of the versions?
For example, if you only have the bts CD, can you still play the regular game?

you need the cd/dvd for the version you want to play. You need at least Vanilla and the one for the expansion you care about to install them.
