View Full Version : Phi Ind
CHEESE! Nov 16, 2007, 12:23 PM GIMME A PHILOSOPHICAL INDUSTRIOUS LEADER!
There.. short and sweet?
Anyway, ive been frustrated to find no mod of a Phi/Ind leader. Please link me, or make me, one. Coolest would be for the Byzantines, HRE, or Romans.
Please dont say its overpowered, thats what i want!
Silence101 Nov 16, 2007, 12:53 PM A minor change in the XML will give it to you - it's a pretty simple mod.
pholkhero Nov 16, 2007, 05:25 PM why not, instead of asking someone to do the work for you, ask how YOU can do it yourself??
L4zXX0r Nov 17, 2007, 03:47 AM go to your beyond the sword assets folder, open up civilizations, open up the leaderheads document with word, select a leader, change the traits. It really doesn't matter who you use, since you can always Unrestict Leaders, which is what I did. I tested out a Phi/Ind of the Romans a lot. The keys to this leader are building up one city to have the pyramids/hanging gardens/hagia sophia and national epic. It's also good to have the parthenon, but in another city (so the great artist points don't hinder your super engineer producer). From there, get a Forge, and just go to town, and make sure to get yourself Pacifism some how. The one thing that I noticed, was, since my capital city was focused on wonders, I had a tougher time with my army, and I was in quite a bit of wars.

thanks for not having a tantrum... any way when i open the assets in Beyond the Sword folder, i get assets0 to assets4. When i open em, it t just says this folder is empty??
Silence101 Nov 23, 2007, 05:49 PM The path is Beyond the Sword\Assets\XML\Civilizations\CIV4Leaderheadinfos
Copy this file to:
Beyond the Sword\Custom_Assets\XML\Civilizations\CIV4Leaderhe adinfos - make your changes in the copied file. The game will know to look in the Custom_Assets folder for the file first. Don't ever mod the original files.
CHEESE! Nov 23, 2007, 06:20 PM I dont seem to have that- As i said before, Assets only contains (empty) Assets0, Assets1, Assets2, and Assets3.
