Has anyone ever thought about putting family lines/trees into the game? I always loved that about Medival Total War. Granted I don't know how it would work exactly, or how it would be implemented. I just thought having a leader lineage would be a fun aspect, and could open the doors for many new game aspects.

While it would be an awesome idea, it would radically change the way traits work. Changing that, would then radically change the balance of the civilizations. I mean, if you got stuck with an emperor that wanted to put his horse on the Senate...

I always love when I get the event that says my lineage has died out, not just because it gives me a free specialist but because I feel like the civ is going to now start in a new direction and i immedietly start a new winning startegy.
