I installed Civ4 Gold & BtS a while ago, updated to 3.13 or something, but then decided to delete the files from my computer without using add/remove in control panel. Recently, I decided to play again, and reinstalled Civ4 Gold, and tried to reinstall BtS. However, when attempting to install BtS by running the setup.exe on the CD, it tells me that I already have version 3.13 of BtS on my computer and that I have to uninstall that version before I am able to install the version on my CD. When I open add/remove and try to remove the program, it says it cannot b/c of something to do w/ setup.exe. I've removed some registry values under Firaxis and Uninstall data and it didn't help. Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this?

I thought maybe if I recreated the original game path in my program files and copied the setup.exe from my CD to there, it might work, but I don't even remember what the path looked like - all actual game files are gone.
