I'm on the road a lot and like to play Civ. It the only way with a laptop? (no psp type etc)

If so any idea for min spec and sort of prices i will be looking at? (uk based).

Like i said it will be mostly for playing civ and hopefully getting on line to play (wifi).

if you want to use a laptop you'll want as much memory as you can get and a decent graphics card (i.e. at least 256 mb physical memory - not just share memory) all other specs are pretty much optional (wifi should be standard even in the uk by now ;)) so that you'll find that most laptops with max memory will do. I don't know uk prices but a quick look at dell uk tells me a range of 500-600 pounds.
Some time mid-2008 Civ Revolutions will be released for consoles.

You could get a umpc (basically a very small handeld pc). I run civ4 ok on my sony u71p. I cant play big maps, but one of the newer model umpcs would probably do a better job. Try to get as much ram as possible.
