I just got Beyond the Sword, but sadly, I can't install it. :sad:

I'm not sure why, but I think it's because of this: BtS requires Civ4 to be updated to the latest patch (im not sure why), which is 1.74, right? Well I tried to install the 1.74 patch but it's not compatiable with version 1.09. How do I uninstall the 1.09 patch (I see no 1.09 file in the PATCHES file for the Civ game)? And afterwards, how do I get the 1.74 patch installed? I searched on the forums and several people said to install 1.61 before 1.09, but I did that and 1.74 wouldn't install.

Thanks if you can help. Why does BtS require the latest Civ4 patch to be installed?

Purchased Civ4 CD in July and played with the 1.61 patch ever since (I tried to install 1.74 but again, I couldn't).


EDIT: Never mind, sorry about this I figured out how to get 1.74 up and running. Now off to install BtS
