I've got BtS v3.13 (official + latest unofficial patch) and the U.N. voted to ban nukes (it was unanimous). Then many turns later, it brings up the vote again, even with the "(PASSED)" at the end of the vote name.

Here's a screenshot:

Here's the save game at the end of the turn before the 2nd vote:

Also, in this same save game, I had two quests assigned. One was to spread Mining Inc to 14 cities, and the other was to get physical possession of a silver resource from some other civ for one of the other corps (before another civ completed this quest). Later on, I completed the Mining Inc one and it told me so; however, the second quest for the silver immediately disappeared after it told me I had completed the first one (and no, another civ didn't complete it). Is this a bug ?

the UN thing: you can bring up those resolutions again after they passed - if they fail the resolution is rescinded so it needs to be available after passage in order for the nuke ban to be revoked. This works as it is supposed to.
The quest thing:
could be a bug - though does it really vanish or does it just no longer show up in the quest log? i.e. if you complete the quest does it work or not?

Vote:

I didn't know you could regurgitate previously decided issues. Since the nuke ban passed unanimously the first time (and the second time), I don't know why the AI-controlled U.N. would bring it up again (unless it just didn't want to vote on any of the alternative questions).

Quest:

I looked over http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=236727
and found that the first quest was #17 (Corporate Expansion), and the second one (that was gone after successfully completing the first) was #18 (Hostile Takeover).

A few turns after the turn of the linked save game, I acquired the silver resource through city border growth, but I don't get acknowledgment that I've completed the quest. So the quest both disappeared from the log and deactivated. The quest list doesn't list this quest as expiring by a certain time, and there were no other civs with any corporations, so that's weird (a bug?).

Thanks,

Jeff

the quest thing is probably a bug - the resolution thing is sort of a bug: the AI does chose the resolutions it proposes semi-randomly so it will sometimes stick to reproposing certain resolutions without any reason (it could opt for no resolution - but won't) - but that really is just an annoying side effect of the fact that in order to repeal a resolution you have to repropose it. I am not sure that the AI understands that it actually proposes to repeal this resolution...
