Bushface Dec 06, 2007, 01:13 PM One would assume so, although the caravels can't carry troops. But as you're miles ahead on techs, haven't you built a nice fleet of battleships to blow his galleons out of the water ? If not, why not ? And aren't your units far more advanced than his ? Jaybe Dec 06, 2007, 01:15 PM Yes, it is an invasion force, absolutely. OTOH, what do you care? Surely not all of your units are somewhere else. Have some fun, let him land and THEN knock his galleons off! r_rolo1 Dec 06, 2007, 01:18 PM Clearly a invasion force.... I recommend a preemtive strike  kristopherb Dec 06, 2007, 01:25 PM One would assume so, although the caravels can't carry troops. Have some fun, let him land and THEN knock his galleons off! hes attacking a freshly conquered terratory and is not fit to help me defend it Spaced out Dec 06, 2007, 03:02 PM That attack fleet has no protection from aircraft. Your unused trasports could probably sink that fleet. Supr49er Dec 06, 2007, 03:25 PM One would assume so, although the caravels can't carry troops.... But they can (and do) carry medic scouts and spies. Dominico Dec 06, 2007, 05:17 PM Holy crap you are thrashing everyone!! you need to turn up the difficulty! Sueff Dec 07, 2007, 05:52 AM Either you play on a very low difficulty or you neglected your army very much. If the latter is true, I hope you get slapped :) Soneji Dec 07, 2007, 06:44 AM How are you managing to stay on top of inflation and maintenance with so many islands and continents? Munch Dec 07, 2007, 06:57 AM As you can see that that there 6 galloens and loads of caravels (mehmed). It's irrelevant; you've already won. Turn up the difficulty and if you aren't then ahead of the pack in every respect by a huge margin, then consider whether it's worth worrying about galleons. kristopherb Dec 08, 2007, 12:13 PM Either you play on a very low difficulty or you neglected your army very much. State property, conquest money. It's irrelevant; you've already won. He was going to attack a highly valuable/poorly defended Provence. It turns out that the fleet was heading for the island north of it to take the indian 'colony' of which you can't see. now its a small on the island doing nothing. |
