That attack fleet has no protection from aircraft. Your unused trasports could probably sink that fleet.

It's irrelevant; you've already won. Turn up the difficulty and if you aren't then ahead of the pack in every respect by a huge margin, then consider whether it's worth worrying about galleons.

It turns out that the fleet was heading for the island north of it to take the indian 'colony' of which you can't see. now its a small on the island doing nothing.
