i have played well and won lots of game on warlord difficulty, but i'm havinga lot of problems with noble. Can anyone give me some tips. most of the time i expand up to 8 cities and stop, unless i conquer another civ is it becasue i'm not expanding enough? HELP NEEDED!:confused:

Do some searches before posting a new thread.. Just look around a bit and you see a million threads about moving from warlord to noble. Also check out the war academy for good articles.

Most wins at higher levels feature having more than your "fair share" of land. Therefore, you should become comfortable with the idea of taking the land from someone else.
As you are new to Civ Fanatics, you may not have noticed the War Academy. It is listed in the Site Navigation menu (top of the page) under "Civilization IV".

All very useful advice so far, I found the best thing to do was:
1) read the "how to win on Prince level" thread whuch is hidden away somewhere on teh forums, this applies equally well to Noble level
2) read some of the succession games, they give you some real good advice....
But there's plenty of superb advice on how to beat noble on the firums, spend a couple of days reading (and more importantly understanding) teh advice contained and you can't really go wrong.
