Im running civ4 with all the patches on my Intel Pentium D with 1GB RAM, 256MB Graphics updated drivers and DirectX. My problem is that all movies other than wonders (startup, vi are extremely slow and jerky. Any ideas on how I can fix this? Thanks in advance.

You must be getting the "pause every 2 seconds" movie problem. It seems you have all the system requirements so I recommend closing down the programs your using such as IM, Firefox/Internet explorer and etc.
