I tried putting all 3 versions on my laptop back in June right when I got it and I received error after error. Eventually I had to completely reformat my computer because it messed it up so badly. Have these issues been fixed?

there have been some bugfixes with the recent Beyond the Sword patch (3.13) some of those also included some display problems and compatibility errors with Vista - so the answer is maybe - there still are some people reporting problems though.
