View Full Version : Explicit Attitude Causes
Type Dec 10, 2007, 09:24 AM Hi there, sorry if this is the wrong section BTW... Anyways, on with my question: Back in Warlords there was this thing that numerically explicitated others leader's attitudes towards you and the reasons, like "+1: Our years of peace has brought us together/ -1: You refused to stop trading with XXX" and etc. I can't seem to find that in BTS, so I guess it has been removed? :( If so, does anyone know how to bring it back (a patch or mod, or something)?
r_rolo1 Dec 10, 2007, 09:29 AM  it is still there... just hover the mouse in his picture in the diplo relations screen.
KMadCandy Dec 10, 2007, 09:30 AM i still see it, if i hover over their face in the foreign advisor, or over their name on the scoreboard. they did take away the glance screen in the patch :gripe:, but Bhruic's unofficial patch (which is a sticky in this forum) has an add-on that puts it back in if you liked it.
welcome to CFC :)
Type Dec 10, 2007, 09:53 AM Thanks, but I'm guessing you guys are talking about this:

Supr49er Dec 10, 2007, 10:11 AM If you put your cursor in the leader's name in the lower right corner of the main screen, you will see the "numbers" you want.
Type Dec 10, 2007, 10:24 AM I acidentally declared war on Stalin, and then the negative numbers apeared... My guess is that they weren't there because there was really nothing to state yet. Sorry guys, I suppose I should had played more before asking that
Thanks for the patience anyway! :goodjob: :wavey:
Refar Dec 10, 2007, 11:15 AM Stalin jusr does not have any + or - towards you. You just met him (i guess) and he's Cautios.
KMadCandy Dec 10, 2007, 11:54 AM I acidentally declared war on Stalin, and then the negative numbers apeared...
oops! i guess you did figure out a way to bring it back, didn't you! you have a well, "unique" approach to finding "solutions" of sorts. and you aren't afraid to let us learn from your mistakes. i like that! i vote that you should keep posting on CFC :).
Type Dec 10, 2007, 12:28 PM I guess so  Thanks again :goodjob:
jeffreyac Dec 11, 2007, 08:39 AM accidentally declared war - I've done that a few times, but it still makes me smile to think about...
"Oops, sorry about those tanks acidentally rampaging through your farmland!"
or "I'm sorry, was that YOUR caravel my destroyer just accidentally sank?"
Too bad there isn't a 'diplomatic spin' button you could use to counter mistakes like this - send your diplomats in with tales of rogue sub commanders acting without orders, that sort of thing... Maybe avert the war by offering reparations for whatever you did.... :)

"Sorry we burned your village. Heres some gold."
AfterShafter Dec 12, 2007, 12:00 AM "Sorry we burned your village. Heres some gold."
I think you mean "Sorry that band of politically independent bandits with British rifles and red coats burned your village. Here are some pounds sterling."
