Hi Fellow Civvers,
Am running BtS with patch 3.13 installed, but so far have not been able to have satisfactory game on it due to regular CtDs. The simplest way to achieve a crash I have discovered is to start a new game and click on English in the leader selection page at which point it crashes to desktop. I enabled all logging and get the following in the resmgr log:
RESMGR: Failed loading file art/LeaderHeads/WinstonChurchill/winston_churchill_BG.kfm. Error message: The file does not have a compatible version number.
which clearly fits the symptoms! Is this just a reinstall job? Am also getting the same error if I run Warlords, which previously ran absolutely fine on this machine, tho that was before I had to do a complete rebuild on the machine when I changed AV software. Zip of all BtS logs attached.
All suggestions appreciated, as need to be able to show that even Black Princes can beat their swords into ploughshares when I have corporations to play with, tho I suspect the sword will always be more satisfying! :D
