Hi, I recently bought Civ IV (PC-DVD version) and tried installing it on a vista system. Installation went fine, but when I tried to play, it said that Civ IV has known compatibility issues and gave me the option to search for a solution online, run the program, or cancel. Is this normal?

Thanks a lot. I installed patch 1.74 and got the DirectX file from MS and now it seems to have worked. No compatibility messages or crashes to desktop.
