What CIvilization do you plan on using when your first get Shadow, and why?

I'm going for a Svartlafar, Coucil of Esus centered game. Recon is starting to grow on me.;)

I considered Sidar, as I'm a builder in almost all of my games, but I'm trying to branch out.

Sidar. Not only am I a builder by nature, the Sidar are overall so darn cool that one just has to play them.

sidar because I like them flavourwise ever since I read the story about old Morgoth and because im a fan of the great person strategy.

I've always enjoyed the baslseraph (since im a builder.. in the cultural sense) but i think ill start with the sidar. The specialist thing is really appealing.

Elves is my thing so Svartalfar for me :)

I need to figure out how to run a specialist economy (me=n00b), but I'm all about the backstabbyness that is the Svartalfar.

Why is there no article about the changes to the Malakim and Balseraph?

Not enough new info to merit a whole article yet, but you can check out the changelog tomorrow.

My next game will be as the Balseraphs. I have got to try seZ's new freak unit out.

I did not play 0.25 yet. So will start from something not perfectly new to move step by step. Balseraph as I do not like Malakim.

i've tried random a few times and it doesnt seem truly random. There are some leaders that i get all the time and there are some that are never touched...

Here's hoping that Malakim are ready. We are zealots for the light, and walk not in darkness.

I've noticed that too even though I like to try Random at times.

I will play my good ole Elohim in my first game just to get a feel for the mod changes with a civ I am familiar with.

My second game will be the Sidar. I've battled them in so many games, it will be fun to finally play them. :)

Balseraph, i really like Sez art, so i'm eager to use his Balseraph units ;)

I voted Sidar because they are so much different from other civs. I first thought Svartalfar cause i like Dark Elves in general, but after reading the design diary for Sidar i changed my mind. Those guy will really offer a new gameplay.

I've been waiting for the Svartalfar to be playable "officially" ever since I saw them in the civilopedia back in the Light phase. I'm going to have to go with them first, despite my typical builder play style. Sidar will be next, then Malakim.

Sidar, they match my industrious builder style. Although if I find the Grigori, I'm gonna give their hero a test run...

Elohim, I like them and I want to try Overcouncil, they seem well suited for it (and I don't like Malaikim). Second game will probably be Sidar, though.

Cardith here. Never played .23, so I have NEVER seen sprawling, nor the "Mini-city" concept.

Malakim for me. I haven't played them much lately and I'm looking forward to roleplaying a Wheel of Time, Children of the Light like game. The Empyrean and the Overcouncil will be fun for that I think.

Next game might be the Sidar. I don't know yet. I like All the FfH civs!

I am tempted to start a hotseat game with me in all the seats.

svartlafar. I'm always the guy in the fps's who sits in a hidden spot and snipes you, and always the guy trying to make a sneaky hit and run in rts's. Glad to see this ability finally implemented in civ

Sidar. Counsil of Esus... And if the Grigori are in my game and one of my neighbours I might just gift myself a few adventurer types...

Sindar, beeline for OO and try a culture war with them. Next will be probably the elfs [either light or dark, haven't played any of them] and then Malakim.

Balsephiarh are one of my favourite but I have played to many times with them.
