First of all I want to say that FFH II is the best TBS I've ever played. Second of all I want to ask whether me (Ljosalfar) randomly declaring war or the Svartalfar is supposed to happen. If not, whats making it happen and how do I fix it?

Its not supposed to happen. But I see why it is, I'll fix it.

You could have done any number of things. Its really hard to tell without you giving us a little information on what happened right before war was declared. You could have cast a Scorch spell in there territory, cast a Ring of Fire spell that accidentally hit one of their units or a myriad of other issues.

Me, them and the Malakim were all going to war against the Kuriotate, but the Svartalfar was inbetween me and the Kuriotate, so I had to negotiate an Open borders with them, I moved my Gilden Silveric and a Satyr through and was attacking a Kuriotate City when it just all of a sudden declares war on the Svartalfar. At the time of it happening none of my units are within Svartalfar borders.

It has happened before aswell, but I let it slide coz I was going to invade them anyway.

PS. I try reloading a savegame from before it happened, but it just happens again right on que.

PPS. I think I may be using an outdated version, still 2025 though... Im downloading the latest one now. Is there anyway to check the exact version of FFH II including patch version?

EDIT: I updated everything to 2025 I (the latest one unless theres something I'm missing) and I still get the same problem

I think it is intentional according to the warscript that they will go to war with eachother, but it is not supposed to make you declare war

It's been listed as fixed in Shadow, so I don't think it was intentional.
