This has been driving me insane lately.
Civ A offers me a resource trade, say Clams for Fish. I can accept right there or go to negotiations, which I'll always do to see what else I might be able to get. However, if I do that, about 60% of the time all of a sudden the deal THEY just offered ME is no good and Clams for Fish becomes Clams for fish, horses, iron, gold, wine, 9 GPT. It's maddening. I suppose it could be the unofficial patch I have installed, but whatever it is, it's annoying as crap.
