Brazilian Dec 18, 2007, 04:38 PM It's elvish language? Dwarves language I'm sure not. :D
Isn't it quenya?
thomas.berubeg Dec 18, 2007, 05:06 PM tengwar?

Sifaus Dec 19, 2007, 03:27 AM yes theyare tengwar (but quenya style)
i searching for my old quenya writings. they are lost. i cant find them!!!
(yea! i finf khuzdul and quenya dictonaries. when i finish xmls i'll start to write diplo sentences)
Elda King Dec 19, 2007, 04:24 PM I did some (a few, just to add a bit of flavor to diplo) phrases on the first version... I'll try to remember some.
"Elen sila lúmen omentielvo, a star shines over the hour of our meeting!"
"Utúlyen Aurë! Aya Eldalië ar Atanatári, Utúlyen aurë!"
"I'd invite you to my palace, but no one must know where it is..." (Turgon)
"Our peace shall last forever, unless you find and keep a Silmaril." (sons of Fëanor, meeting)
"I'm very happy to have you as ally, so long as you recognized my rulership over this land and adopted my language and the customs of my people." (Thingol, meeting)
"I've lost my ring, did you see it?" (Sauron)
Sifaus Dec 20, 2007, 06:28 AM "I've lost my ring, did you see it?" (Sauron)
 don't stop ok? please write more. They can be "easter egg".
Love Dec 20, 2007, 12:37 PM Hehe
"Come sail away." -(Cirdan)
"Look when i squeece this apple with my hammerhand" Helm
"Got some mithril stacked in a corner? Well, I GOT!" - Durin
Sifaus Dec 20, 2007, 12:55 PM they are vey good easter eggs. i'll try to translate rohirric, khuzdul and quenya. it will be funny :D
Elda King Dec 21, 2007, 05:20 AM Some others I remembered:
"See this sword? It is sharper than thy tongue. Now propose a reasonable trade."
"I am the Lord of Beleriand, and all who seek to dwell there shall hear my word." (Thingol)
"I'm Saruman, the White! No, I'm not a doctor, I'm a Wizard."
"Welcome, my friend. Don't mind the chains on your chair, they are not for you. At least not yet." (Morgoth)
"Almarë, [name tag]!"
"Néin, beer for me and my guest!" (Dwarves)
"Pay no attention. It's just a prisoner we are torturing." (Morgoth)
"I did nothing. These armies on Rohan aren't mine. Oh, you are here for trade? So good..." (Saruman)
"It's so good to trick... I mean, to have trade with a friend." (any "evil", perhaps Saruman)
"The world is changed. What a bargain!" (Galadriel)
Love Dec 21, 2007, 03:35 PM "Anyone want a vassal? I promise, no backstabbing." - Freca
Sifaus Dec 22, 2007, 05:10 AM :P wonderfull...

Durbab sharku - (its) Rule of old man
Buub albai! - pig-Elves

Quenya (Qlaquendi)
Ai! * Atan - Hi! Shining man
Aran i atani - King of mans
Mana? - What?
they arent finished, but i'll
and now i'm printing Sindarin Course for learning
gregeb Jan 10, 2008, 08:19 PM Okay; you made a few mistakes here. ;) Sorry to correct you, but it should read...
Quenya (Qlaquendi)
Ai! Calima Atan - Ah! light man (ai! is just an exclamation like ah! and Calima means light, though I suppose it could be used in the same way here, the more normal word is sil- with the present tense sila although that may not be relevant with this as it means sort of moon-or-starish-light so you may be fine here ;) )
Aran i atani - King of mans (besides mans needing to be men, atan (man) was not pluralized. The plural form would be atani)
Mana? - What?
Mol ? more - Slave of darkness (Mol means slave and more means black. What is this saying though then? "slave? black"?)
Sifaus Jan 11, 2008, 12:32 AM sorry i changing my dictonary then. i starting to use engilish-quenya pdf dictonary.
i'm editing them then :)
gregeb Jan 11, 2008, 02:42 PM Okay. Maybe some of your dictionary was outdated.
Sifaus Jan 11, 2008, 02:49 PM no, its que-turkish dictonary and translation have some problems when turkish from english :D some of words haven't got "full" meaning in turkish... :)
