Do killed Esus units yield manes like OO and AV units?

No. (But units with death1 or entropy1 do.)
Likewise Basium get angel only from Order/Runes (and their own units).

If they Esus/Empyrean units don't grant Manes/Angels, then I think it should be changed so that they do.

Hyborem get 0-2 manes when a unit dies. Basium 0-1 angels. There is nothing preventing Hyborem from getting two manes and Basium an angel from the same unit.

That sounds uncomfortable. Poor guy's soul, split three ways like that and turned against itself...

...Especially when you consider that he could also be hanging around on the side of Neutral via the Spirit Guide promotion. And is there anything preventing him from being a slave in a Balseraph Freak Show as well?
