CIV Gold Credits

Giving credit in a project like CIV Gold is a logistical nightmare. Over a period of 3 releases for 3 versions (plus a 4th release in progess), components are added, removed, replaced modified, etc. An original civ may, over time, have the text edited, leader replaced and unit redesigned to the point where it is almost a new civ.

Likewise, contributions are often cumulative. A new unit is designed. Someone adds a new weapon to it. A third person does some re-texturing. The fourth supplies some missing pedia and strategy text.

Bearing in mind the complexity of collaboration in the project, the following represents my best attempt at crediting all those community members who played a role in brining this project together.

It's important to note that some individuals have been recognized for work not appearing until version 4.0, while others are being acknowledged because, although their original work may have been removed or replaced, their inital contribution remains highly valued.

Wow, that's quite a list. I joined rather late and I never knew there were so many contributors. It's very gratifying knowing that I keep their work alive with the new versions.

By the way, I'm trying to learn Blender so I might be able to submit a leader one of these days.

I don't want to sound mean or anything, but you forgot to credit me:). I made that Daar leaderhead:crazyeye:. You only changed the background :D. I know I didn't contribute alot in this case, but I'd still like to see my name in the list :).

Anyways, I want to congratulate you on another brilliant mod. To bad I'm unable to play it because I don't own BtS:blush:. But as soon as I buy, this will be the first mod I download:goodjob:.
