My civilization had been reduced to a meager 8 cities, I had encountered an overwhelming force at my borders, and in a fit of desperation I pulled all of my troops to my empires core. The enemy advanced. WW6 was not going well for the Egyptian coalition, we were going to be wiped out. Or so "they" thought. Being the worlds greatest superpower for 1000 years running does have fringe benifits. i had been stockpiling missiles and ICBMs for years.
I destroyed their forces, nuked cities, jungles, fleets, entire continents. No one was spared. My fortified quick responce forces across the globe mobilized and took everything. Entire continents were brought to their knees in but a few years. :lol:

Perhaps I shall chronocle the history of 'Egypt' over the summer, then I might post it as a good story!

A brief clarification.

No, I was a "peaceful" superpower on a huge map, I had control of a quarter of the world and had dealt merry hell on a democratic basis to all whom dared to send a settler my way. At some point I got bored and declared war on the world. And won. A hundred years or so later I started to get Mpps and started another war, this was a bit harder and more interesting since the AI was constantly stockpiling stuff. Eventually we got to WW6, I declared on everyone again, but I was blitzed from all sides, the mainland was almost taken... But I had outposts all across the globe, I put them there to make war more interesting. (only razed citys) I got ticked, so I hit everything on the planet with nukes, and used every unit at my command to take everything. (I only waged war with small amounts of my forces)

I shall start the story tomorow, but it wont be in civ terms; I shall follow what happened in such a way that it makes a good read. Cutting out two or three WWs for example... And adding a few more unts, and the effects of pollution, and other stuff- Oh god. I read a lot. I am a good writer. Perhaps I shall start my first novel at the age of 14! This needs some further consideration!

Il rework the plotline, maybe have many different people. Each age having its own maincharacter, ending when the character dies, or achieves a major goal. I could make books out of that eventually... This would be a rough draft of it so to speak, I could make better and better versions of it. I'm rambling on and on and on aren't I? I always wanted a good idea to write about!
