And so came the time for the gods to test their creation and bring them the gift - or curse - of fire and so all that would follow. A day prior to that event a special child was born, a child of god but of man aswell. This child was to lead the most glorious of the tribes and bring human kind into a new way of life for ever.
It was a child filled with all that which is human; Intelligence, free will, flaws and traits. But the child was also a diety with powers extending beyond mans. She could see events before they happend and even at rare times, if she begged her parents enough, change the course of time.
Her name was Isabella and this is her and indeed your story written by scholars and foretold by thy lord.

Chapter 1. The Race for Land.
- Isabella has just risen as leader of her tribe and as I proudly watched she started and finished the construction of the first human city ever. The dawn of a new civilization and so a new era for mankind had begun. - From an audience with our lord.
Madrid, the city named after the Madrone tree which dominates the forests is the surrounding area is settled near the river Adre and the southern coastline of the continent Amiga. Yet despite this great wonder of the world news reaches the city soon that other tribes have also entered what appears to be a new age and the construction of towns and cities all over the continent is beginning to show. The race has begun.

Our empire is expanding and room is needed.
The leader has issued an order to found a new city, Barcelona.
Her wish was is command. - A settler.

News arrives from the old neighbours, the Franks, that they have requested an audience with the leader of the Spain, Isabella. The location of the meeting is agreed to be the Frank town of Chartres. Nothing much is exchanged except for kind words and gifts. The french seemed more curious of our new leader than anything ellse. Yes "French"...They like to be called that nowdays as it was pointed out several times to our envoy by the servants before we met with Jean.

A source of Ivory is discovered and as foreseen by our leader the ivory brings our people joy. In towns and cities accross the land celebrations are held.

Many years have now past and our civilization is starting to blossom. The glorious nation that is spain today is starting to show.
With the discovery of map making and the understanding of the sun, the stars and the moon our galleys start to scout the coastlines during the day and draw the maps during night in the moonlight. With writting and travel also came poetry and below follows one of our earliest poems still in use today:
My heart has left me,
Oh sir, will it return to me?
So great is my pain for my beloved!
It is sick, when will it be cured?

But with adventure also comes danger. A sad day in our history, a day caused by our own lust for knowledge meant the destruction of one of our ships and the death of a hundred men and twelve women! Just a few weeks prior to that, we were warned by the japanese of barbarian tribes in the north and east. Despite their clear good intentions due to their wish for continued trade and our better judgement our ships continued. Fighting our way through the northen seas the resistance became stronger and stronger as our navy kept being ambushed by barbarian scum. In the end, the last two ships were destroyed trying to fight their way through to the French villages further south. A ceremonial burial was held for the dead.
