Ok, my friend just bought Civ IV, but he bought the Gold Edition which comes with the expansion pack. I only have Civ IV regular edition (which means I don't have any of the expansion packs).

We've been trying to connect and play online, but we seem to be in different lobbies. The problem is that whenever he loads Civ, it automatically loads the expansion pack. My question is, how do you prevent the expansion pack from loading, so that we can play online?
