Since it's humble beginning in 2005, CIV Gold has expanded to include over 60 new civilizations, with over 100 being planned for 4.0. Community support on the project has been excellent, and we've been priviledged to have some of the top talent (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=255259) in the community contributing to our efforts.

Perhaps most satisfying, however, is the strong support given by community members who have downloaded the mod, and mod-makers who have saw fit to include components of Gold in their own creations.

To this end, it's great to see CIV Gold civs being used exactly as intended - as a source for high-quality civs in the highest quality mods.
