I play online all the time, it is where I have the most fun with civ4. I never had any problems with warlords nor the original civ4. I was playing the supreme Earth map online and most people quit b/c it was late. I saved the game to continue at a later time to finish a game that i was in first place. When I loaded up the game the turn timer would not move, it was stuck. So I could not end my turn to finish up my game. It is annoying when you waste 6 hours to finish a game at a later date to only have the turn timer freeze up.


Will a new patch come out any time soon to fix this very annoying bug? :mad:

It is patch 3.13....... I would load the save here but i do not know how. Some guy named Levi who is like a helper for noobs while online said that there will be a new patch that fixes this bug.

I am not too much into multiplayer - but I have not seen this specific bug report around here. YOu can upload files by clicking on go advanced and then manage attachments under the reply box.

i dont know how to load a save to here. Some people were saying that this is a bug and it will be fixed with the next patch.

I even had people that were in the same game as me load the game up only to have the same problem. When they loaded up a old save for online play the turn timer would not count down. You could not move units either. The turn timer just froze..... I hope a new patch fixes this b/c this makes online play rather lame if you cant finish a game at a later b/c people quit or got bored. there has been no official confirmation of a new patch (though with alexman asking for map scripts in this forum for a new patch - it is likely there will be one) - no release date is known. Might be a while.

I would download the new patch but I have many mods. I don;t know if the mods I have will work with the new patch. They probably all have to be updated. In my current game I'm playing as the romans. Israel is surrounded by Saddam Hussein, Adolph Hitler and the Iranians. I hope LTBob updates his mod that allows us to play with more than 18 civs on any map.
