View Full Version : Mod Request: Pick and Choose Mod

As I was scrolling through the mods one day, getting the latest updates, I decided it would be great if I was able to play the Revolution Mod with Dale's Combat Mod. Yet, being no modder, such things are beyond my grasp.

Thus, a request to any modder with nought to do - a pick and choose mod! This would include all major mods which make a change to gameplay, and offer an option which allowed the user to choose which mods they wished to use in a particular game. This would not include new units, buildings, technologies or civilizations, unless they were integrally tied into a new game feature.

Such a mod would, I am sure, be appreciated by a great deal of people, modders and players alike. So if you're a good modder reading this, then create this mod, and your name will go down in Civ history.

EDIT: New resources are OK, so long as they are balanced and do not require new improvements or techs.

Same request here: I would really like to see the Farmers mod and the Unit Statistics mod etc. in one mod (e.g. RFRE or Rise of Mankind), but I have no idea how to do this since I am a complete DLL-noob.

I think, and I'm not completely sure about this, that World of Civilization is attempting to do exactly that, or something similar.

Try this:

It only works with xml, I think.

Python stuff can be merged by hand, but dll mods cannot be merged at all, or at least, only with great difficulty.

Thanks for the info.

World of Civilization seems to be the best bet, I'll check over there.
