Hey guys

Another post about something that might not be a bug. When playing as Hyborem, I promoted Hyborem himself with the Shock II promotion. When observing his promotions on the bottom left of the screen, I expected to see "Shock II: +80& v melee units". Instead I saw "Shock II: +40% v melee units". Is this an aesthetic error (where the mechanics still work), or is Shock II bugged such that it doesn't confer the extra 40% on top of Shock I?

You should get an 80% total, 40% from each. Check the combat odds when you attack another enemy. Only the latest promotion from any line is shown, I think.

Shock II used to be bugged in that it confered an extra 80% on top of the shock I 40%. Now it confers 40% on top of the shock I 40% (for a total of 80%). It's a cosmetic error.

Ok, fair enough. I just saw it removed recently as a reported bug/balance change. I guess then it was in the balance change section rather than the bug section?

I recall getting a warrior in FfH 1 promoted to shock 1 + 2 and then deciding it was time to take out a few neighboring kingdoms. ;)
