Hi there...

I was using a NVidia 5500 graphic card and this week I've updated to a Nvidia 6800 Geforce XE

My saved game, with the 5500, now after being loaded with the 6800 XE makes my computer reboot after 15 or 20 seconds. It has happened this like 5 or 6 times.

Any idea what could be happening?

I've got a P4 2.8 Ghz, Windows XP Pro, 2 Gb RAM, and I'm playing BTS on 1024 x 768

OK. Not only does reboot with the previous game but also with every game I try to play!!!

Will re-installing help anything?

I have the latest drivers...

old trick:

update and reinstall drivers with ALL of your anti-virus software OFF

and something they stopped putting on computer program boxes?
make sure ALL OTHER PROGRAMS ARE OFF (including IMchat programs - even if you are not using them) when installing the game, mods, expansion packs, etc.

with those two things in mind - update your graphics card drivers (even if it's new out of the box, the drivers have probably been updated)

finally - adware/spyware/malware - it will kill your comp and your game.
Get a free download to get rid of it called AD-AWARE (google it).

It's "passive" meaning you have to run it a few times a week (depending on the websites you visit)
and gaming web sites are LOADED with malware.
