View Full Version : Gurra09's Civilizations [BTS Modular] Gurra09 Jan 15, 2008, 10:27 AM File Deleted. Ekmek Jan 15, 2008, 11:27 AM does this have unique graphics? screenshots? Gurra09 Jan 15, 2008, 11:39 AM The only unique graphic is the flags, civbuttons, leaderheads and leaderbuttons for Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Units look like the unit they replace because I don't know how to edit them... Hiram I, Hattusili I and Tarquinius Priscus is Hannibal, Justinian I and Alexander with the backgrounds for Ramesses II, Pericles and Julius Caesar. The pictures is in the place where you download, the link is in my first post. Gurra09 Edward The Big Jan 15, 2008, 12:59 PM it won't let me download... Gurra09 Jan 15, 2008, 01:26 PM That's because I've edited some things in the text, and it's right now unapproved. It should works tomorrow. :) Gurra09 Henrik Apr 14, 2008, 03:46 AM Some random thoughts about the swedish leaders and their favourite civics from a random swede ;) : Gustav Vasa (Gustav I) - Shouldn't this be bureaucracy? He practically created central authority in Sweden. He did go to great lengths to ensure his sons inherited the kingdom, but in doing so created a rather unstable succession line resulting in loads of instability. If one has four sons, trying to make them equally powerfull is not a good idea... Gustav Adolf (Gustavus Adolphus) - Theocracy seems to fit better with his father (what with the mosaic law and all) Gustav Adolf strikes me more as a vassalage kind of guy (with the granting of extensive rights to the nobility in order to ensure their aid in creating the war machine necesarry for the thirty years war) Karl XI (Charles XI) - Vassalage just seems wrong for the one guy who created royal absolutism and thereby reducing the nobility to being clerks in his state (landless clerks no less)... How about nationhood? Draft would fit well with his karolenean armies as well. Mercantilism would also fit his economic agenda. Gustav III (Gustavus III) - Mercantilism seems fitting though free speech could work as well. Also the scandinavian warrior looks a wee bit overpowered methinks :) |
