Introduction: I’ve decided to make something new – a historical NES.

The year - 1878. As the world is in Era of Imperialism, the Scramble For Africa, The Balkan Wars, The Rise of America, and Industrialization are the events that took place before and during the period.

NOTE: I haven’t added some African kingdoms that never had any known influence on history itself. I only placed those that did influence history of Age of Imperialism like Zulu and Zanzibar. Oh and finally, for any incorrect borders, my Atlas is to be blamed.

1878 - Treaty of San Stefano creates Greater Bulgaria under Russian influence. Italians establish colonies of Italian West Africa and Italian Somali. Dutch invade and conquer Acej. Dutch also begin colonization of Congo by buying some of the lands from local Kigndom. Massive industrial reforms occur in Brasil. An ultimatum is sent to Paraguay and Uruguay to immidiatelly surrender their armies to Brazil and join into personal union with them or else Brazil will invade. Third Northern War begins when Germans invade Denmark and decalre war on Switzerland, Denmark and Norway-Sweden. Soon, Jutland is overrun by Kaiser Friedrich and his troops, while Peter von Bergeb ruels in Germany for the time of Kaiser's campaign in Denmark. General Bon Kleigsch invades Switzerland, using camoflouge, and best German mountain division, overrun Swiss defence. Swiss were outnumbered and outsmarted, and soon Zurich fell. Germans land in southern Norway. British try to advance in Afghanistan but are soon stopped and repelled. Zanzibar is renamed Zambia. Zambian expansion northward begins. Zambians start building a new Rubin Mine in Tanzania.

1879 - Japanese establish a colony on Okinawa and invade Korea, soon overrunning it's south. Uruguay agrees to unite with Brazil, but Parguay didn't staarting Brazillo-Paraguyan War. Recruitment of colonial milita by Dutch begins. Dutch East Idnies are given semi-autonomy. Brazil's Urugyan Division is sent to conquer southern Paraguay, and soon suceeds in overruning main Paraguayan forces. Dutch send colonists to Namibia, Papua Nova Guinea and Ivory Coast. More British forces are sent to Afghanistan, and after heavy fighting the Briiths manged to conquer much of Afghanistan, however local population movesto guerilla resistance, making Afgahnistan a death trap for British Army.

Republicans manage to soverrun much of Egypt proper, and King escapes to his Sudanese poccessions. Paraguay gives up to Brazil. Italy joins League of Three Emperors making it a League of Four Emperors. Russia, Austro-Hungary and Italy declare war on Great Britain. Germans and Dutch defeat Royal Navy at Heligoland, deliviering a terrible blow to British power on seas. Italians establish colonies on Madagascar and in Southern Namibia. 1884 - Brazillians increase numbers of their army, and declare war on Peru. Zambians send colonists to Cameroon and establish a colony in Eritrea. Egyptian Eritrea is overrun by Italians. Italian navy begins to move out to wards Seez Canal, Malta and Gibrlatar, usign the fasct that British navy in North Sea is basically ANNIHILATED, and they have to move some parts of their fleets to protect home islands. Zambians establish colony in Cameroon.

1885 - Italian military experts arrive to Brazil to help them modernize their army. Timbuktu falls to Italians. Gibraltar is besiged by Germans and Italians. Italians land in Suez...

1886 - British Guyene, East Peru and Falklands are overrun by sudden Brazillian attacks, as Brazil enters World War I. British send ALL OF THEIR MILITARY TO PROTECT HOME ISLES. Portugal declares war on UK and overruns British oclonies in Western Africa. Zambian-Omanese forces overrun Trucial Oman. Belgian Congo expands eastwards. Sri Lanka is overrun by Japanese.

In wake of the death of the short-lived Dutch republic, King Wilhelm van Oranje X ascended to the throne of Holland. Commanding a great empire in Southeast Asia and a rich nation, he began to immediately enstate reforms in domestic and foreign policy.

BATTLE FOR AJEH was a success for Dutch, and they've managed to defeat the Sultanate of Ajeh.

Brazil announces its 5 year plan to further industrialize its economy. Brazil would be happy to trade with any of the European or North American nations. Being a struggeling democratic republic, any aid will gratefully be accepted and technologies to help with the already ongoing process of industrializing our nation will be helpful. We are a somewhat poor country when it comes to money, but we have many natural resources and long hot sandy beaches.

As a wave of nationalism spread across the nation, Prime Minister Jimmy Conway announces his plan to unite the independent states of South America in to the freedom loving nation of Brazil. If they join Brazil volounteraly, their goverment will be spared and life will be easier on their civilians. Fredrich was crowned King of Germany on the 4 June 1878 following the death of his father Wilhelm. At only 28 he was still a young man but was highly decorated in military splendour after serving in the German army since he was sixteen.
Fredrich was determined to prove himself as a great military genius and to build Germany into the great world power he thought it should be.

25 June 1878: In a bid to show off his military prowess and to felx some German military power, the Kaiser declared war upon the independant states of Switzerland, Norway and Denmark. The announcement caused an uproar in parliament and Chancellor Peter Von Bergen was left with the long hard job of finding a good reason to give to the world for tyhe Kaiser's actions.
Though the decleration was recieved with cheers and celebration from the German population who were eager to see their country become victorious.

26 June 1878: Kaiser Fredrich departed with his army to conquer the lowlands of Denmark. He left the country in control of Chancellor Peter Von Bergen until his return after the war. The Chancellor seized on the chance and began with opening diplomatic ties with the world...

If you ask me, we have every right to be downright terrified of your aggressive miliary campaigns! These nations are very much similar to our own and it could just as easily be us the next time the Kaiser runs off on a reconquista!
You should be advised, however, that a Swiss campaign is very unlikely to succeed. Their entire country is mountainous, easily defendable the Swiss are armed to the teeth! I will tell you that unless you are interested in slaughtering your armed forces, you should leave them well alone.
We disprove of Germany's aggressive measures and encourage you to look to Africa. The World is a wide place, we shouldn't be running over our brethren while we can just as easily subject natives and get rich without much resistance. The German militaristic spirit, while honored, should be quelled if your government seeks to make a serious effort in the world.

While we thank you for your respect of the Dutch rule over Suriname, we are not interested in trading with Brazil. The aggressive campaigns your country has made, while on the world scale are relatively harmless, seem to demonstrate to us the Brazilian mentality. However, if you chose to end these campaigns and a massive buildup of your army (ooc: upgrading an army so much takes a very long time--you probably don't have the industry to equip all of the soldiers. Emperor Meiji has just announced a 7 year plan to enlarge the Japanese Army from Medium to Large. This change in size is expected to take about 7 years. It will take 7 years like the industrializing plan because by then Japan will have enough land and resources to make the upgrade.

The room sat on the top of the palace, looking over the many gates and walls of Thebes, which was golden as the sun. The capital had been under many attacks over the years, and the scars seemed to penetrate the beuoty of the city. This would all change, under the Rule of Nefer Seti, the Pharoh thought. He would build an ampire of economic stability, and military power. Mother Nile had only grown larger over the year, expanding the Nile Valley of fertility.
Pharoh sat down in his thrown, and all his advisors quickly began to talk at once. "hush, talk when spoken too!" He yelled, only to stare into the faces of suprised people. "I'm sorry, but this will have to be quick, I have much work to do. First off, Taita, " He looked at his bald headed economy advisor, "What have you about our economy?"
"Sire, the economy is producing at it's maximum. Only 30% of our land is fertile enough to farm and produce anything. We must expand to more fertile land in which to support a larger populace. We rank in the lowest of population, even lower to whome nations aquire less land then we do."
"So what is to be done about this?" The Pharoh hurridly questioned.
"We must colonize other lands."
"Great, consider it done."

The rest of the talks went smoothly, but the main problem was lack of recourses for a populace. Orders for Egypt to expand it's gold mines were sent. Also, settlers were being prepared to settle and colonize foriegn lands. With the wood available, a grand navy was also expected in 8 years, one that would be considered Medium.

The Japanese engineers working on the Yoshi Rifle have found a flaw. They need a substance that can hold its original shape and still bend into other fromations without breaking. As The Uruguayan Division moved forward smashing all resistance before it, a regiment of the Paraguayan Imperial Guards fortified itself in the city of Ciudad del Este. Beatrix thought a moment. "I say that instead of chasing after Britain, we agree with Italy to take Egypt. Personally I'd favor owning the bloody place than to let those radical morons get away with reinstating a vengeful leader, and we should get a good share of money. A Great tragedy has overcome Egypt! A civil war has broke out, concerning Republicans versus the Monarchy. Our navy has been upgraded to medium with the wooden warships Mafia, Cormoro , Pemba II, Zanji Hog, Sunk, and Clunker. And the crusers Zanji, Mombasa III, Zanimba VI, and Zanzibar XXVII.

We have begun work on a 3 large battleship with 15 8 inch guns since this would be our first battleships they are expected to take 4-5 years. Also 4 new crusiers are being commisioned.

A 4 new multi-provence armys are being drafted from the main land. A new rifle-cannon is being created for our armies its called the Paintball Shooter shooting a lightweight but large bullet. it should take about 4-5 years to creater both.

Conways Five Year Plan has been completed. However in the newly aquired territory Paraguay, modernization is still a few years away. Therefore Brazil now has a Mainly Industrial Economy, increasing annual income to Large. With the Uruguayan Army being incorporated into the Brazilian Army, German weapons being delivered and the draft , Brazil now has a Huge Army. Conway has ordered to replace all of the obsolete ships in the navy, but no order has been given to increase its size yet.

So the British people don't starve to death, food is being sent to the British Isles. They are unprotected wooden vessels and they are being sent without convoys.

Also if Pakistian is captured (with Kasmir) the northern half of

I hope that when you return das you will get this going again as it was really good. I just have a few suggestions to make it better:

- More Nations support Britain in the German-British war as this will make things exciting.
- Maybe countries like France, Spain, Portugal or Belgium might join on their side. They would have good reason as they might be worried about Germany's growth in power and the consequences of Germany gaining more power in Europe.
- Also non-European countries should stick to just financial aid in the war as it would prevent things becoming one-sided.

Just a few suggestions. Please don't let this one die as it's the only one left of the simple original style...
