since my factory graphics card is not up to par for this game, what do you guys think of this one

I found a few online, and it fits my college budget. Do you guys think it is a good enough card to run Civ IV gold? Oh, and it is going in a hp dv2000.

the site says "application area: notebooks with medium size and medium weight"
so I assume it would not be a problem. You have a better suggestion?

Normally the video on a notebook is integrated into the system. I don't know of any that have upgradeable video. Its possible, I guess. :dunno: But before buying any new chips, I'd make for certain that you will be able to do this ...

so I assume it would not be a problem. You have a better suggestion?Those statements are typically directed to manufacturers. It's not generally viable to upgrade the graphics on a notebook; in most cases it's better to get by with it until you can afford a new notebook.
