I've just installed Civ 4 on my Vista machine and the sound stutters and crackles through the intro screens and at the main menu. I've installed the latest 1.7 patch, DX9, Video drivers, etc and the sound still doesn't work right. I've browsed through the forums here and couldn't find any solutions. Any ideas?
