Hi guys and gals,
I boot the game and regardless if I wait for the films etc or not if I enter the menus within 30 secs I get a complete PC lock up ie CAD does not work only power button.
I have managed to run the game on this PC once but had about 10 attempts before it did not fail.
Running 1.61 ( but I have the same problem if I load the original from the CD 1.4 something I think.
512M ram on 1.6G
Nvidea Geforce 7600 256M @ 1280 x 1024 driver version 6.14

If I run anything else I have no problems, but to be honest not games, ioe Dreamwaever, fiorefox and DVD player all work OK.
I have tried to get quickly to advanced setting to change things since the game is running at the same resolution, but fail to get through before the PC locks.

The sound contniues so fairly sure that is not the area.
I have disabled just about every other little tray ap.
Running XP home SP2
Directx 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

Any ideas guys please?
