Tried posting in Civ IV forum, but getting no replies, so here it is.

I installed Civ IV on my new computer which belonged to my uncle. When I installed it however, it wouldn't let me play at all - it would just CTD. However, when I installed Warlords, it would let me play with all the features working ok, except the scenarios. I don't have any original scenarios and I can't download any from here. If I try to play a scenario downloaded from here, it just CTDs again. Any suggestions as to whats going on?

No. Just crashes to the desktop without any explanation.

open civilizationIV.ini - which is located in my games\sid meier's civilization 4\ and my games\warlords\
in each of those files set everything with log in its name to 1 and hydepythonexceptions to 0 then start and crash Civ4 and start and crash warlords and post the contents of
my games\sid meier's civilization 4\logs
and
my games\warlords\logs
as a zip file please
