Hi, I am new to this forum and I have just been given Civilization IV Complete as a present. However, I cannot see anything about this game, with the included expansions on here? I have tried updating it with the update patches that are available but everytime I try to update the game(s), it tells me that none of them are installed on the computer, yet I have just had a run through with the tutorial in the game, so it is definatley installed? It's the Civilization IV game, with the Warlords and Beyond the Sword expansions included in one install. Maybe that's why there are no updates for the game? I hope somebody can assist as I am new to this game but it looks really good and very addictive! Thank you.

I just bought my copy today; always loved Civ. I think the Complete edition already has the most up to date version, so that's probably why it won't update.

OK, Cheers! Thanks for the advice. Still trying to get to grips with playing it as only used to playing all the AOE games etc so far but this is far, far different and you have to use your brain with this game. LOL!

Yeah I've always enjoyed the level of strategy required for Civ games. Plus it's the only one that'll work on my laptop.

There is another unofficial patch (http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=7288&act=down) available that fixes some gamebreaking bugs. You really need to download it. Install using the instructions in the readme (although it may be different for Complete).
