Silent assault.
Artwork by TopGun.
The DFS 230 was Germany's primary glider and was widely used throughout WWII, including the seizing of Fort Eben-Emael (1940) and the liberation of Benito Mussolini (1943).
Download it here. (http://forums.civfanatics.com/./downloads.php?do=file&id=8155)

No I meant, other gliders for other nations
For example, here a soviet glider :

or here (flying tanks!):

I thought of those aircrafts too:
CG-4
CG-13
Airspeed Horsa
General Aircraft Hamlcar
Gotha Go.242
Messerschmitt Me.321 (already done, i'm not sure)
Antonov A-7
Kokusai Ku-8

A glider!?! Who'd have thought??? Sooooo coool, we need a Skorzeny unit to jump out and rescue Mussolini with it, but barring that, I don't know how to "use" it! :) But who cares!!!

Definitely not something you see every day. Well done!

TopGun,
You and your mates just bury us with models. All great, BUT I do have a smaller request than that OLD one HE-123 light bomber......... hm
This glider is just great. Wyrmshadow did some of the allied versions years ago, and the idea was that instead of using the paratroopers flc animation of a unit dropping from the sky with a para this glider could be used for those other regiments and perhaps jeeps and light artillery beeing dropped into the area in support of the Paras.
What we do need from you is a part of the Death-flc with just the actual landing without the crash.
This way (as in my mod) smaller artillery like many of the great AT-guns and the also recon Jeeps could be "dropped" into hot zones. The Flc to use for the Germans should then be your Glider instead of Wyrmshadows old allied Glider (The Horsa).
Itīs just an idea I have had for a long time to make more than just Paratroopers "airborne".

PS Donīt forget to dig up that He-123 so it can be in the production lines before the famous Stuka.....
