The Great War has started! Otto Van Bismarck, Fascist dictator of Germany, has declared war on the Byzantine Empire! After the Italian war, Germany took the north, the Byzantines took the South, and the city of Rome was allowed to retain independence. Then, in the border city of Pisa, German Artillery pounded the Byzantine Infantry until Panzer and Marines could take the city. Byzantines allies, Egypt and Russia, declared war on the German Reich. After this, England, Japan, and India all declared war on the Byzantines and her allies. After all the Protection pacts and alliances went through, the war looked like this: Russia, Byzantines, Egypt, Spain, and France vs. Germany, Japan, England, India, China and Mongolia. The Roman Empire also had a treaty with Germany, but has declared neutrality for now.
The Germans had pushed heavily into Italy, and had taken the two cities Byzantium occupied. Then, the German Blitzkrieg pushed into the Balkans and Russia. Then, by coordinating with their English allies, were able to attack and defeat the French, pushing them into Iberia. These nations all request Egypt’s help in pushing the Germans out, but can Egypt mobilize in time?
In Cleopatra’s throne room
“General, what is the situation?”
“Yes your majesty” replied her son, Ramses IV. “The German offensive has taken us completely by surprise. We will rapidly need to mobilize like our allies. French President Joan of Arc has arrived in Cleopatra, and is headed to Thebes via railroad.”
Cleopatra sighed. She knew this war would be different than all the others. She indicated to her son, Prince Thutmose, who was her chief of staff, to speak.
“Well Your Majesty, the situation in Europe looks dire. German Panzers are truly incredible. None of our African cities are in Danger, as the Germans have seemed to evacuate. None of Germany‘s allies have American colonies. Persia is closing their borders, so we will have to reinforce our Indian colonies by sea.”
Cleopatra was ready. “Bring on the Huns!”
