OK - I was told to post this here in a PM from TAfirehawk, so here goes:

Do you have any idea what can cause a mod to give the error "the memory could not be read" on the game exit? I've been having that problem with my Star Trek Mod for a while.

In your MOD you added elements to the MOD, alot of Cloak stuff, but i do not see any new Schema anyplace? Might want to start there? Not what you asked but just a suggestion.

Well, the files with the new tags all have modified schemas (Civ4BuildingInfos, Civ4TechInfos, Civ4UnitInfos) and I get no error when loading the mod, and the SDK recognizes the values just fine (NOTE: The latest version released on this site does not have the modified SDK).

Quick question and not sure where else to put this question.

I'm trying to use WoC on a system with Vista SP1 Beta 1 and the mod will not load. It starts but then crashes and exits to desktop when it tries to initialize the world graphics.

I have loaded it via SVN so it is the most up todate version.

Any suggestion? I can post the tech detail of the crash if you need or want them

Thanks

Is it possible to add additional music to the game?

Well the latest SVN was crashing....sorry....but Assets should be working now with SVN 1425 or later.

SP1 might be causing a problem too....not sure as I had problems with it earlier and removed it via Format :) But I can tell you that the WoC runs on both 32 bit and 64 bit Vista.

We have added music for Civs like Canada if that is what you mean. Audio/Music is not Modular (it is in the EXE so no chance modding right now) but we are using the Plug&Play approach of a Universal Audio File Setup.

I was talking about music for the various ages. I own some of Aaron Copland's music which is perfect for the modern or industrial era and I was wanting to add it in.

We wrote it based on the 3 city radius mod here on CFC...but it is a major improvement/upgrade.

Everything but the 36 civ option can be turned on/off.....maybe another thing or two but nothing else comes to mind :)
