If I add an edited CIV4EraInfos.xml to my Custom Assets, then start and save a game, and someone else without this particular CIV4EraInfos.xml loads that game and plays, will his game use the data from my edited file or his normal one? Specifically it's about the iEventChancePerTurn.

It depends on what your change is. If you have modified a value then it will load just fine on their system and use their era info. If you make a significant change (like add a new era, remove an era, or add new attributes through SDk work etc) then the game will just crash when they try to load it.

It's only about the iEventChancePerTurn value, nothing else. I have increased it so that I get more random events. From what you say I guess if someone else loads one of my games they'll use their normal value, not mine (and if I load someone else's game it'll use my value, not theirs). Thanks! :)
