My computer crashes to desktop when starting a game. I see "The Age of Ice has Ended" after I click OK to start the game, and then it crashes.

This is the error information:

I'm using a fresh install of BtS in the default directory, which I patched with the Civ4BeyondTheSwordPatch3.13.exe file direct from the Firaxis website.

FFH2 is also installed in the default directory. FallfromHeaven2030.exe patched with FfH2030h.exe

Any suggestions?

I figured it out. I went into Options and turned off movies.

I have the same problem. Turning off the movies apparently works, is just a work around though :(

I tried the various recommendations regarding the bink error (like installing radtools, trying out another dll, do a fresh install of FfH, reduce the movie quality or turn of antialiasing, but none seemed to work ;(
