hello all

i know this is not really a RFC issue. However does anyone here have any idea on what the "Failed to uncompress data" error means and if there is a solution to it.

When does this error occur?

This problem happens when i am trying to load a save game. It appears to be random bug as only some files are affected; even turn 1 save are affected someimes.
Right now i am trying to load a save that i had spend a lot of time on but hadnt palyed for 2 few weeks.

I've never really heard of it, perhaps uninstalling and re-installing civ 4 and expansions if you have them might help. I think you'll still have your old save games afterward.

This is not an isolated problem, there appears to be a few post about this in other forums but no solution was suggested.
I was hoping the peoples in this forum might be more knowledgeable in the technical matters. Does anyone else have any ideas.

Thanks to falming_iles a clean resinstall appear to have fix the problem.

actually, that kind of error may happen after a version mismatch.

Make sure you patch your fresh BTS again, and update the mod after that
